17th century Teacup Candles

Inspired by the first book written specifically for women on gardening by 17th century writer William Lawson, “The country’s housewife’s garden”. In this century, women were expected to be mothers, housewife’s and now tenders to their gardens due to the growing interest in garden architecture by the French. In the same way, high noon tea was glamorized and drank highly among those in power & status during this time.
