A marvelous look inspired by the volume “Classic works from women writers”
Wow, readers! This has to be one of my favorite looks so far! (Although I tend to say that about every outfit I create.) I absolutely love the amount of accessories I wore and the fabulous shade of purple.
I’m proud to say that I wore an entirely thrifted outfit from head to toe, as always. I chose purple because, since the 17th century, Queen Elizabeth I banned this color, allowing only those in the royal court to wear it. For centuries, purple has been a symbol of wealth, nobility, strength, and power. It has adorned not just Queen Elizabeth I, but also many powerful women, including Diana, Princess of Wales, and Michelle Obama. The color purple truly highlights the vibrant power of women and their unstoppable strength in advocating for and educating the world about the challenges they face due to societal expectations and norms.
